We rented the electric pedal assist bikes for the afternoon to bike Sky Road. We had a great time seeing the amazing views along the way.

Hello folks,
I want y’all to know that these jacobs sheep socks are the best I’ve ever worn. Over the years I’ve progressed from cotton to synthetic to form fit wool and finally to realize that old fashioned wool socks are still the best. 100% wool is warmest, even wet of course, and will hardly smell or harden after days of use. I wear your socks inside leather lined boots that cause minimal pilling, but allow the knit to bunch in all the right places. I think there is a great advantage by these socks, due to the fit and also the quality of wool. Thank you for providing an excellent product. – Charles

My partner and I bike regularly (recreation & short commutes at home) so it seemed reasonable to rent bikes to explore the Clifden countryside, particularily given the fabulous late Sept weather we were lucky to experience! We ended up renting the electric bikes since one person in our party of 4 was quite hesitant about biking and we ourselves figured hey, where else are we gonna get a chance to try these out? unfortunately, the other two in our party quite quickly determined they weren’t comfortable bike riding (and the proprietors were generous enough to give us a fulll refund on their rentals) but we ourselves got a kick out of the turbo boost of the electric bikes–you feel like a rockstar on the inclines!–and we ended up riding 40 miles! (loops 1 & 3). Best experience of our trip–amazing opportunity to be part of the scenery, and oh what scenery! highly recommend it!

We had such a fun day on our rented electric bikes. Amanda was so helpful and instructed us so carefully on our route and supplied us with anything we needed for our journey. Our bikes were super and they worked a dream.

The roads around Clifden are superbly suited to the cycling experience. There are very few severe hills being a coastal location and should you encounter one, it inevitably leads to a high plateau that provides superb views of the surrounding country and the island paradise, in this case the Sky Road.
