A west coast of Ireland, "Galway Girl", Rachel was born with a passion for horses, animals and nature. She spent all of her holidays and spare time growing up on her grandparent's farm in the beautiful Connemara countryside. A a result this upbringing fuelled her love for nature and animals, and inspired her career choice as a professional artist.
Rachel Dubber formalised her creative talent with an Honours Degree in Fine Art from the Galway Mayo Institute for Art and Design. She now produces her highly respected equine art pieces at her Galway based studio.
Rachel works on commissions of paintings and drawings of a huge variety of animals. Her style of work is highly recognisable and has graced many exhibitions around the world. Her pieces occupy pride of place in public and private collections internationally.
In 2018 Rachel introduced a line of giftware and home accessories featuring the Donkeys of Western Ireland. Fine bone china mugs, 100% natural cotton aprons and re-usable jute bags are among the initial pieces in her first collection. You can learn more at www.racheldubber.com.
Because of Rachel's love of animals a portion of the sales profits will go to The Donkey Sanctuary, Ireland, as this is her chosen charity and where her sponsor donkey lives.
